About Us

Follow us, Kyle & Bee, while we ramble around southern Colorado, our amazing country, and beyond. Whether it’s four wheels, two wheels, or two legs we are looking for adventure, cool places, and interesting people. We are based out of Creede, Colorado high in the San Juan mountains. Follow our travel journal here or on our social media accounts.

Kyle:

I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio, and currently based out of Creede, Colorado. I spent a chunk of my life moving around, and always found myself attracted to the West and Southwest. I love the history there, the mountains, and outdoors. I have worked in the motorcycle industry the past 15 years which has given me a ton of opportunities to travel around the country and world, and the chance to race motorcycles and other adventures. Now I can regularly be found splitting wood at our cabin, hiking with my pup Maya, and rambling around with Bee.

Where’s Beulah!?!

Beulah (aka Bee):

I was born in Southern California and raised on the road. At the age of three my family started roaming the western states in our camper, staying in places like Arizona, Northern California, Idaho and spent a couple of years in Colorado. We would travel when the weather was good and land in places long enough for my brother and I to go to school.

When I was 10 we went back to Southern California and I stayed put for nearly three decades.

When I turned 40 I had to grapple with some big life changes. I found myself with lots of free time and that led me back to the road for comfort. I put tens of thousands of miles on my motorcycles over the next few years.

One fun thing I like to do on my trips is to find places named Beulah, a good excuse for an adventure. I’ve visited  the Beulahland bar in Portland, Beulaville in North Carolina,  Beulah Park in Santa Cruz, CA. But my favorite was Beulah, CO just outside of Pueblo. I’ve lived in Colorado before and I figured I could do it again, so I sold my house in California and moved in to a three story pagoda called “The Mikado” that was  tucked into the trees of this little town.

It was fun being Beulah from Beulah for a while. Through my adventures and mutual friends, I met Kyle and started spending a lot of time with him in Creede and eventually moved here.

I still love to travel and look forward to exploring more of Colorado and beyond. The best advice I’ve gotten from folks older than me that I’ve met on the road is “never stop moving,” and I hope to take that to heart physically and mentally for as long as I can.
